In a way, I think that it does. People don't like to be treated like sh!t. It's as simple as that. However, to each their own. Some people are just plain idiots, and don't know how to be in a relationship or care for anyone beside themselves. In a situation like that, how you treat them has nothing to do with anything. They're just sociopaths, and there's nothing you can do about that.

Well, since you brought up Karma, I'll say it the way I always do...

I believe in bad karma, if you behave badly in a relationship, others will see it and hence you'll have a harder time finding someone else to beat down like that.

I don't believe good karma exists. If you are genuinely nice and treat your partner well, isn't anyone going to notice (especially the person your with), so good things won't come back to you.

In the end, I think it's like this, the evil you do will always be returned to you, and no good deed will ever go unpunished.

Karma sees not good or bad, evil or divine, it is blind like justice....
