Funcutennice, there's a difference in a woman applying makeup to make herself look good and then the GS pictures where they cake it on so thick, it makes the person become someone they are not.
I am totally against GS. They turn you into something you are not. Yeah, I looked absolutely stunning and could have passed as a Model, but that isn't the real me. I'd rather have a guy contact me with using a real picture of me and knowing what he's getting, then have him contact me because of a fake picture and then we meet in person and he ends up being disappointed and says "your nothing like the picture." |

I'm sure there may be exceptions but I think most Glamour Shot photos are pretty lame. Be yourself. Natural poses are so much more attractive and, personally speaking, the GS pics are almost always a turn-off. if im a turn off, DONT look at me then

Hmmm you know what a Glamour Shot is? I did one in high school. They slathered me with pancake make-up, sprayed a whole can of Aqua Net hairspray in my hair, and wrapped a piece of material around my shoulders..... Then they airbrushed the photo until I barely recognized myself. I remember when I got home, I stuck my head in the sink and washed with Sun Light dish soap because my sister took the shower first! We actually pushed and shoved each other up the driveway to see who would get it first. She locked the door of the bathroom too or I might've tried to fight her for it in there. It was nasty. So nasty I used dish soap to wash myself. they didnt put much makeup on me at all, and i dont think hey used any hair spray, my hairs naturally curly. |

What cracks me up is when I see pics on here where it's so OBVIOUS it's old, like high school shots, or 80's + 90's hair!! Sorry, but we know you've changed somewhat since then and we are not fooled!!
I like this format in the fact that people change thier pic's all the time. It's original. So in a sense you get to see a history of the person and a deeper connection. I'm not photogenic at all,,,,,,it's a curse,,,,,, don't have a scanner so i cannot post old pic's
I hope I didn't screw this up. I LOVE seeing older to newer, but it's when they ONLY have the old one, nothing newer, and they want you to think they look younger still.... |

Debbie, as I prefaced my post... there are exceptions. You are certainly one. Your photos look professional, not like typical Glamour Shots and no cheesy poses. You must have had a photographer that strayed from the franchise norm.

Debbie, as I prefaced my post... there are exceptions. You are certainly one. Your photos look professional, not like typical Glamour Shots and no cheesy poses. You must have had a photographer that strayed from the franchise norm. I think when they see a good shot, they don't mess with it much?

Well that explains it. I was speaking of "Glamour Shots" (the store name). As in the franchise photo places you find in the malls where the "photographer" is the guy they hired when he got fired from Orange Julius. |

Do the beauteous women of JSH look like they need a glamour shot? I say NO! These women have natural beauty and a glamour shot would not enhance their beauty any more than what they look like on here which is flawless. I say let these women be an example to all women around the world. They not only display there beautiful features but have the intelligence to go with their gorgeous looks.

You can always tell the difference right away. One looks natural, and the other doesn't. I think yours are fine Debbie, nothing fake about it.
