the first....he got emotional because of drinking...but in drinking...generally the truth comes out. He prolly does feel that way about you...but you were prolly stunned acting and it made him feel upset and outta place so he decided he should tell you that he slipped and didn't mean it because he didn't get the reaction he was looking for or wanted.You broke his heart in short. But he doesn't want to look stupid er anything...and this is why he retracted the comment.If you woulda been happy about it...he would be still making love comments....pretty sure. Just a note.....I think you should give the guy the chance...just fer the record.You might be shocked at how it goes..Hope this helps. A friend of mine is a 21 year old virgin waiting for marriage. But he has become drunk a few times and said and did things that were purely motivated by something he can get, ie kiss or something. I've said things to women in my past while drunk that I could not or would not say sober but WERE feeling or thoughts I had while sober. So it could be that he has feelings for you but was embarressed that he had said it. Or it could be that he wanted something, ask him pointedly and believe what he says. Think the best and trust him.

My best friend Dan told me this past weekend he loves me more than a friend. But today, he told me he had a couple beers in him when he said it. I don't want our friendship ruined cause it would destroy me.... What do I believe? Ignore it until he has the balls to tell you sober |

If you don't feel the same at the very same time and somebody does something, it could screw up what you have. Just be carefull. |
