The alpha within, yearning to get out
she is free at night to run with the moon
but in the day, in the light so bright
just another dream losing the fight
She's strong and leads her pack
good intentions always intact
but the night brings sadness
lonliness is her plight
'cause there is none that can help
her win her fight...
In her heart she holds on tight
to the dream of a mate
that can grasp and keep her right
'till then, she fights and bites
all who come near
cause trust is naught
Her cubs to think of
to nurture and culture
it'll take just the right one
but there is no perfection of virtue
So in this hunt, I'll continue to roam
hoping it wont be long this path to comb
just to "feel" and keep
the wheels of fate turning
and stop all this yearning...
