days! and if ya talk everyday id say id give it 3 weeks

When I got my house and split up from my Ex GF (more her choice than
mine, she was trying to get me to commit to marrying her) we were still
seeing each other for about 9 months. She use to call on the phone and
“Talk” for a while when we only lived a seven minute drive from each
other. I’m one of those people that feel that “seeing” someone is worth
more than talking on the phone: So I set her on a time limit of 30
minutes on the phone (since if she wanted to see me she could easily
come see me for 15 min by just getting in the car)...LoL Does this show
my distain for the phone?

With that said, if I am online with someone that lives within an hours
drive I’ll give them some time to produce a picture OR they can drive to
come see me (if their excuse is that they are technically retarded and
can’t post a picture). But after a while of hearing someone say they
really like you, etc… but they can’t post a picture & they wouldn’t
invest the time on driving to see me I can’t help but think the person’s
just bored with their life and playing some kind of online game to pass
their time

Obviously if I’m talking to someone that doesn’t live within a close
proximity this will change a bit, but still I doubt that I’d really be
investing too much time in someone without a picture in this
situation...ya know?

Sluggo, I understand your frustration. I was chatting with a guy on
another site and he did send me his picture. After chatting and talking
on the phone for 2 months, I drove 2 hrs to meet him for the day. BUT .
. . yes, the picture was him, but our personalities just didn't mesh.
He was a much different person when I met him that he had been online or
on the phone. He actually got pi**ed off at me because I didn't fall
madly in his arms on our first (and only) date.

It's personality that counts and the true person who lives inside the
shell of a body. I have since met another and feel that I may have
found that very special someone. I wish that for you as well.

Well I understand the way you feel for I do feel the same I put my pic
up and if that person really wants to get to know me they can give me
the same respect I know sometimes it might take a week or so for some
for I'm not one that likes pics taken but it can be done. I like to see
who I'm talking to if all I was looking for was a ghost then I would
settle for my wet dreams at least they seem real lol.

Sorry Kevin, chatting online is nice (and at times as good as it gets
with that person) but my objective is to meet someone. If you took that
aspect out of the equation (ie, I'd never ever meet anyone here) I
wouldn't be here....sorry if that seems a little blunt
