As many times as I've had to wear them (3 times so far), after wearing a cast for a few weeks, your skin dies and REALLY starts to itch about 2 inches past your reach. When I was a kid, and did all the bone breaking, my Dad, being the Master Tool Man that he was, took a piece of flexible copper tubing, and soldered then end of it, but left a itty piece of it sharp to help me out where I needed it.

I MISS and LOVE ya, POPS.

Fire ant bites suck too..

chigger bites.

Those things SUCK. The first time I got them I got them bad, but a few weeks ago I was lucky and only got like 6 or so on my feet, but they itched just the same.

They itch so bad, I scratched some in my sleep. I bled all over and I ended up with scars that took a couple years to fade.

Casts are pretty bad, but that's what the really long knitting needles are for. To long to fall in and get stuck. Blunt enough not to scratch the skin and cause an infection.

I had a cast on both legs when I was 15,and was 6ft2 at the time. The worst itching happened at the top of my foot, which was covered by the cast..

having the short and curlies grow back after shaving them can be an irritating thing, esp when in public.

Ain't that right, Hedgehog?? wink

I just had a hernia surgery down there. It was more painful for the Doc to remove the bandage from the spot than it was since the surgery.
