*As Calliope finishes cutting the umbilical cord and hands the baby to Alatariel the chanting grows very loud. With a loud force the chanting finished and a giant flash of red light goes through the room. The flash is so bright it blinds everyone in the room. Almost immediately after that it can be heard that the Inn door flies open. The flapping of wings can be heard flying all around your heads* Thogeon was knocked to the ground when the blast came throught the door he grabs his axe and tries to look up at the figure with the flapping wings. |

Calliope looks up into the air determined not to be intimidated...

Rathil what's going on? *Rathil doesn't respond but you can hear screeching as it sounds like he is cutting down imps left and right. He doesn't seem to have been blinded. All of a sudden the room grows incredibly hot as a red votex opens in the middle of the inn. The ground shakes a bit as a Baatezu demon steps out and a drow female enters the inn.* You all hear a voice that matches Esane say Ah, thank you so much for delivering my new child for me. It will make such a fine servant in my empire |

*stands in front of Alatariel and the baby and crouches down and starts hissing*
|

*Rathil yells*
Stand and fight me you coward. *the womans voice responds* No need, thats why I brought him. *There is a loud crash as Rathil is smacked from behind by the demon and knocked to the floor bleeding* |

*Phara fires a volley of magic missile at the winged one! It hits the target only to piss it off!*

Thogeon feels the ground shake he can barely make out the images comeing through the vortex

*Alatariel. You feel a sharp pressure as a boot steps on your chest holding you down and someone reaches down and takes the baby from your arms.* He will be much better suited with me than you. *Esane walks through the swirling vortex followed by the demon. The hole begins to shrink* |

*Rathil staggers to his feet, Sword drawn and tries to swing at the demon as he leaves but misses horribly almost falling forward in his disorientation.*
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! He yells behind them. *Rathil makes a desperate dash for the vortex and he jumps through just as the portal closes behind him. The room is smoking in the spot the vortex just was and both of Rathils swords lie on the floor. For some reason they were not able to pass through the portal it seems.* After a minute or so you can all see clearly again |
