would what I did yesterday be charity work? All week I inquired about a golden retriever at a high kill shelter that was scheduled to be put down on Thursday and I ended up signing up with a rescue group so I could foster her- I went to the animalcontrol shelter on Thursday morning and found that her hips were too bad to save her- I have shed many tears on not saving her- I walked by a cage and found a puppy that could have been put down yesterday had it not been for me taking it- Princess Sophia is now safe with me and just got home from the vet after spaying and shots- I also adopted a stray rescue pitt/bully a couple months ago who is a happy lazy lug.... Please consider all the dogs in shelters before you adopt through a breeder ...

Yes, work with Habitat for Humanity, take care of an elderly neighbors yard work and some errands, hosted a golf outing for a friend who lost his house to a fire with no insurance,adopt families at Christmas time. I've been so blessed in my life, it's a gift to be able to give back. That's what makes life worth living.
