Thoughts meander through my brain
of a time so less complicated.
Years have passed too quickly I summize
but with those years came joy, tears, happiness and fears.
Now my child, who fulfills my love is going through some
troubled times.
For her I give advice for which I too have experienced,
this Road we call life is travelled by many.
A listening ear is sometimes all we need,
and a simple I Love You embellishes the seed.

I'm sorry your daughter is having a rough time. God bless her. I, too, try to avail myself to the children when they need an ear, a heart, feedback, understanding.... and it pays off. GOOD FOR YOU for being there for her.
