I'm like 3 hours or less.... i'll be there saturday morning for coffee! You coming to TC or Jackson? No the kitts stay close to their den, a drain pipe that runs under the neighbors driveway.

When they get bigger, do they stay close to where they were born or do they move on to their own territory?

I think they mostly get hit by traffic. Probably move out to own territories. I've only been in MI for 5 years and I have a question. Are possums born dead on the road?

Originally from Ohio and miss seeing the animals in my backyard as well. Living in the city sucks. Maybe someday I can move back to the country and enjoy the peace and quiet and critters.
