Is there a point where gamers just become too old for video games? I was listening to a show a few days back and they brought up this question. It really got me wondering if there will come a time when I put down the controller for good. What are your thoughts?

You can never be too old for video games. Although if all you do is play video games...you dont work, dont go out...then yeah it may be time to put down the controller.

You can never be too old for video games. Although if all you do is play video games...you dont work, dont go out...then yeah it may be time to put down the controller. Well said.

Um...after 12 you are told old for video games...because from the ages 13-death they are no longer games they are a way of life...... IDK WTF I'm talking about!!!!

Tastes might change and may become more discerning, but that's about it. Then again, I haven't played a video game in years, so I wouldn't know.

Never too old for Video games, just make sure that you don't get super addicted like most of the people that I know who play world of warcraft.

your never gona be too old for any games i will always have my controller as long as i have my grandbabys playing with me no not too old

The day I put down the controller for good is either the day I develop carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, or its the day both my hands are chopped off in a sudden accident. Hopefully that day will never come.
