What will make us feel younger at our age? ... I think that finding the perfect mate will do the trick. Give us someone to look forward to seeing every morning. Instead of looking at ourselves as a me... look at it as we! There is so much out there to see and do, other then growing old and being alone, and bored to death! What works with others that are over 50? I think age is a state of mind. For me; I don't think finding a perfect mate will do the trick; as actually I have found relationships to be stressful which ages you faster. I found the way to stay young is get out and enjoy life. I volunteer in my community, play with bands, teach music to kids, work out, travel, joined several activity groups, and enjoy numerous hobbies. Of course; I spend some time with my friends; a few my age but most way younger than me; however we all enjoy the wonderful things life has to offer.

still a dreamer.....have to mostly agree with men who are far from picture perfect at their age.... Worse than that are the ones who seeking young Asian women....I guess they think they will keep better...longer shelf life That being said, to me knowing andtalking with people of all ages keeps ones mind fresh. I used to love going places with an 80+ woman. She was more fun and had a wonderful sense of humor. Age is far from the first thing I think of when being with men or women. If they would be truthful with their self age has nothing to do with the person that we have become.

I too prefer women of my own age. Wow I wouldnt want to have to live any decade over again, I've got too much experiance and knowledge . Nor do I want to want to become a teacher to someone half my age. Women over 50 are some of the most wonderful people around. Just my humble opinion How true!

Well, I raised 3 boys who are between the ages of 23-32, and that's not what they told me. They told me the younger men, including the ones they know personally, go for the older women because older women are more desparate, appreciate the attention, and will do more to please them than the younger chicks. Just thought I would put that out there. Can't give up just because there are a lot more bad apples out there. I love men my age because when I talk about watching "Leave It to Beaver" they don't think I'm talking about a rock group. LOL!!

I do agree with you. However, you cannot find what you do not seek. I have always and will always believe in true love and finding that one person that I can love and trust completely as a friend. Just have to get better at actually seeing who a person is beyond what they want you to see, I guess. I've been fooled by the best of them, sad to say. It would be nice if everyone could just be honest. If they want to play, then they should say they want to play. If they want serious, then they should be willing to go through the getting-to-know-you stage without trying to rush it. After all, it does take time to really get to know someone. Just my opinion.

I visualize, supported by pictures, scenarios and situations I need and want. Attracting by thought has placed me in unbelievable life experiences! I believe that in my "search" love will find its way to me...when least expected. I live with joy: expecting for the wonderful man to come my way. Sincerely, an absolute romantic.

OPINION: There are many of us, of older years, that have taken care of ourselves, can still take care of ourselves, can still work at most things we want to do, still have most of our intelligence, will NEVER be ready for a rocking chair & still KNOW there is ALOT of life to be lived, BY US. SURE, we ALL have some miles on us; but doesn't that just make us CLASSIC'S & MORE VALUABLE than most of the newer models? I think so!! I warned that "grim reaper" long ago, when he comes for me, have a sharp blade, as I won't go without a FIGHT. Plan to go with my boots arm, doing something I prob. shouldn't be doing & a BIG SMILE on my face. Want people to wonder what I have been up to. Note: Son says he figures that IS how I will be & shakes his head in WONDER. WHO wants to join ME.

One would think at our age we have got past the insecurities,of self and have grown enough to appreciate a partner for the quality of heart, spirit zest for life and not the quantity of wrinkles ,aches, pounds or imperfections...........then we can live life unconditionally
