As I was working the other day
I heard a soft voice very quietly say
Nurse, i need help to get out of bed
I ll be right inI gladly said.

Nurses do alot more then meets the eye
And we are taught when someone dies, not to cry
It seems unhumane npt to show we care
What do I do just gawk and stare ?

For if it s only a hand we stretch out and lend
We help those left behindmake an easier mend
For grief is a part of life, we all must go through
and by showing I care,I hope to make it easier for you.
