If I want a fantasy, I read a romance novel, or tune into Lifetime. Good answer! I believe a friendship can begin that way, but without meeting face to face, I wouldn't consider that a 'relationship'... as someone on here once said,'you gotta swap saliva first' |

would you get into a long distance relationship with someone you met online but never seen in person...just phone, email, text, and profile pics Got into a deep friendship like that, met in Baltimore face-to-face, became a relationship and will soon move to Idaho to be with my fiance. |

Tried it. Worked out for 2 weeks. I'm the kind of person that needs a hug after a hard week. You can only live the fantasy for so long before you miss that physical contact.
Then again, we're all different. Do what you feel is right. Just don't have too high of expectations. |

Can you talk to him on webcam? this way you can ask the questions that are on your mind and see his reaction on screen. That is one of the first things I asked TheCaptain to do, buy a webcam so we can talk......(Yes, talk! ) .....and see where it goes from there.

starting a relationship through that, but as for a committment I would have to meet the person face to face. would you move across the country for that person I would move for the right person, and never give it another thought. Even if it didn't work in the end I'd know I had given the relationship every chance. |

Yes! Add a web cam to the phone calls and it's like being on a date. You can see and talk to the other person at the same time, just like meeting for coffee. Isn't technology wonderful!
