I take Tramadol for my back injury, and I have been on it about a year, and forgetting today was Memorial Day, I called my DR, and left on the machine that I needed a refill, well should have done that Friday. because I ran out yesterday and so all day today I have been dealing with the worst withdrawals, anxiety, cold and hot sweats, nervousness, can't sit still.

Thank God I called my mom, cause her friend happens to take them and she gave me a couple until I get my refill tommorrow. I wish I would have never needed pain meds. My body is so use to it now that I cant just stop cold turkey.frown

A friend is addicted to Hydrocodones like that. He's been known to buy them of the street before when he ran out. Gets real sick without them.

Hope your pain goes away so you don't need them anymore.flowerforyou

I was given a prescription for that same stuff early last year after a neck injury. I researched it on the web and decided that I'd rather have the pain. I had a long weekend coming up that Spring and I went cold turkey. Not pleasant but I did it.

Still have 4 left in my medicine cabinet but I'm not sure how to dispose of it properly. Don't think that flushing it will do the environment much good. Next time I go to the Pharmacy (tomorrow) to drop off a refill, I think I'll ask the Pharmacist if they know what I should do with them.
