Yes, and when I actually stopped for a second I realized I wasn't attracted to her in any way. She was the complete opposite of what I am. There was no way it would work out.

yes...... i married him..... his insides were wonderful and still are.... but i would not do it again! cause you do have to have some attraction physically too...i realized and he too that we were both outta bad relationships and really liked the comfort of having that friendship.. come to realize that is all it ever really was... yes you need to be best friends with your lover... but you also have to have attraction..

Yes, blind date, set up by friends. Dating me is automatically a blind date, cuz I am legally blind.  I go by personality more than looks, but that's landed me with 2 butt-ugly exes. Now trying to do opposite, or at least look at the person better, THEN go with personality. Hopefully it'll work out better that way. 1st boyfriend was HOT, but even that didn't work out.

I've dated people that many thought were unattractive, but I thought they were terrific...still recall them that way fondly
 ! When you get to be my age, you realize that what is commonly thought of as 'attractive' doesn't last anyway. I'm more interested in what will always be.
