On line gives you access to millions of people you will never ever get to meet in person. I suppose if you're into that sort of thing, it's fine.

But it worked for me once; and that's really all I ever needed it to do.

Everything else being equal, the logistics of the whole process have shown me that I will meet more potentially suitable, and accessible, people through friends than I ever will on line.

I haven't run across a potentially suitable person on a dating site since 1999, and that's no lie....
