In her bed she started her eternal sleep
That is when my heart started to weep.
Up in Heaven is were she is now
In front of the Lord she takes a bow.

No more pain does she feel
In time the pain I feel will heal
My hero she always will be
Now she is flying so High and free

She maybe gone but never forgotten
A phone call away oh so often
The times we shared were so precious and true
Grandma remember that I will always love you

The hot apple pies I remember
The perfect treat on that cold November
The sweaters that you use to make
Like a warm hug that we could take

So please keep a place for me up there
For one day You know I will be there
So rest in peace my dear grandmother
