Why do people post that they arent interested in "large" women bother to click on our profiles when our pics are posted? I know everyone has a preference and that is ok..just never could figure that one out.

I click on profiles from posts that pique my interest on the forums. Size, sex, nor appearance have anything to do with it

Because you can't tell from a face shot, for one thing. For another, not everyone who views your profile is looking to date you. I view profiles when people say things in the forums, to see what state they live in, or how old they are, etc.

Ppl who don't want smokers are always viewing me too and sometimes even email...but they may have actually read my profile and see I just want friends...can you imagine that?

Why do people post that they arent interested in "large" women bother to click on our profiles when our pics are posted? I know everyone has a preference and that is ok..just never could figure that one out. I've noticed that most people do not look at the pics OR read the profile before they write someone..I've had people write me and not have a CLUE that I'm in a wheelchair..even though I not only WRITE it but I have several pics up to show it. |

most big women post a face shot only as their default pic. Sometimes people can have a chubby face and be slender. You never know till ya click

Some people don't have all the data memorized. Average in their 2 year old pictures they have posted maybe, but they know the difference between average, heavyset, a few extra pounds! I'm saying a little honesty would be nice is all! I mean, it sucks to go meet someone off here you have pictured in your head weighing let's say 135 and their vehicle pulls in with the driver side nearly scraping the ground. That sucks! It's happen to me three times, two whom I met on this site. |

I don't think people are being dishonest so much as they are uncomfortable identifying themselves as "heavyset" or "large".I don't think they are trying to fool you so much as themselves. I am comfortable with my weight but many people struggle with self-image problems. |
