why you got to hate skinny people? we didnt do anything, its not our faults, ive tried everything to gain weight, but ive been the same ever since high school and even before.
I've also always been thin and get a lot of attitude for it. I was always very physically active from a young age and just happen to have been born with a high metabolism. I can't help that anymore than the color of my skin. ohwell

Well then... please pass me some of your metabolism!!!!flowerforyou drinker bigsmile

Thats my problem, my metabolism is high. I wish i could put at least 20 more pounds on. I know some are not going to like this but, it don't matter how much or what i eat. I will always be the same unless i workout and even then that wont do much.ohwell

Yeah...I don't gain a lot, just push it around til it looks better. laugh I do tend to gain 5-10 when I'm in a relationship though. I don't exactly know why I loose it, but I look healthier with it. IMO

I can see why in someways you would gain it, but then again i know that there are others that lose it in a relationship from all the stress. Now my brother gained it because he likes chocolate way to much and his wife makes alot of cakes, cookies, etc etc.

Shadow, I was talking about the women. I don't know about the menfolk.

About 8 yrs. ago I was only 110 lbs. and at 5'4, I looked like I was dying of AIDS or something - that skinny. Now, lately, I have to watch what I eat.

I think women need to really wake up and realize that we men don't look at the magazines and the TV and declare that all women must be as thin and perfect as the models and celebrities we see. If anything, I think women have heard the loud voices of the minority of males who are very shallow and thus believe all men are like that.

We know the models and celebrities diet themselves to death, go under the knife, have personal trainers and dietitians, and even snort coke to stay uber-thin. We know these people also have the time in their lives to do all this, because it's part of their line of work.

I'm going to say it here, as I've said it in many discussions of this subject - MOST MEN JUST WANT WOMEN OF A HEALTHY WEIGHT.

What does "healthy weight" mean? It means that she is not pushing a huge stomach, arse, double-chins, etc. She doesn't look like a "before" picture for Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. We men aren't saying women must be super thin, have a flat stomach, and large fake breasts.

We're just saying we're attracted to the woman who looks like she's of a healthy weight. She could have a little extra on the butt, or a little ponch on her belly, but there's a big difference between being 10-20 lbs overweight and being 50-100 lbs overweight.

I know someone will get pissed, hurt, offended, negative, etc about my words here, but I believe in being honest. You can call me shallow or whatever, but I'm being honest.

There are some men like my two friends who actually prefer the larger set women. I'm sure there are many more out there like that. "Good for them" is what I would say. I just more want to disparage the idea in women's minds that men want models. We don't. We just want women of a healthy weight. Especially a health-nut like me, I'd prefer a woman who would share with me in a healthy active lifestyle for the rest of our lives than someone who would not.

I don't want women sitting here thinking they're not good enough...but just to disparage the myth. I think most of the women who replied on this topic are "skinny", "thin", or "healthy" in my eyes. So don't feel so pressured to look like an Adriana Lima. We men aren't setting our sights only on that.

Lots of beautiful women on this site to be honest.love
