you dont have to like the same stuff to be attracted to one another...if anything it gives you individualty and when you chat you talk and learn about new stuff..plus its good to have your own interests and hobbies..if music comes up again discuss the other bands you like..he will respect you more for it words of wisdom that you should definitely listen to. great job Debbie....you're so level headed....Now...stay still my drink is gonna spill  whoops it spilt straight into my mouth yum yum lol

I started talking to the cool coworker of mine. He was faxing something near my desk and told me that Van Halen was playing here and that he was going to go see them. I commented on how that was cool, but that I didn't know much of Van Halen's stuff, only the popular songs. Then he asked me what my favorite band was and said he got the vibe that I was into rock and metal. I told him I was and that my favorite band was "Nine Inch Nails." Now, I love Nine Inch Nails, but it's not my favorite band. I only said that because I think that's the only band I like that he would know of so we could talk more. Is that bad? Better learn about Trent Reznor...and quickly.

Find some way to casually say your favorite band(s) in a conversation, you don't have to be limited to just one favorite band.

It's basically like this, You don't need to lie to relate to someone because if you do, it's not real, and you can't truely realte to someone with lies if you actually plan on getting to know them. Most likeley, he's not going to care about something that little, but if you make a habbit of lieing to him, you will lose him as a friend.
A lie is a lie no matter how big or small, how little or how much of it is actual truth. People start to lose respect and apreciation for you if you stay false to him. I don't know if I came at you a little hashly or not elsathebloody, and if I did i'm sorry, but the main thing i'm saying, is that i'm encouraging you to tell him that you lied "and why", and then just tell him you will be honest with him. I doubt you will lose him as a friend. And he will deffinitely respect you for that. This is just my advice to you, but you can do with it what you want. Tyler Smucker |
