Colors Of The Canvas

God knew what He was doing
When He made the colorful rainbow,
He used the colors of the earth
To give us a show.
He took the color gold
From the golden fields of hay,
So our days would be brighter
Each and every day.
He took the color green
From the many tall trees,
That provide us all
With a soft country breeze.
He took the color purple
From the majestic mountain tops,
And you can believe me,
That's not where it stops.
He took the color orange
From the bright golden sun,
For us to play and romp in
And enjoy our fun.
He took the color white
From the soft fluffy clouds,
With that beautiful rainbow
He knew to make us proud.
Now with the color blue
He took it from the wide open sky,
A masterpiece He left us
And now you know why.
