And we're in a major drought. In fact, it's SO dry out here that "Duh Guvenatuh" had recently held a news conference stating he'd crush anyone who was caught watering their lawns more than they should.

Actually, he wouldn't "crush" them (don't see as how he could anyway, being that he's old and all), but he WOULD sock the offending lawn-waterer with some heavy-ass fines.

But at least we don't have Tom Cruise as governor- he'd probably start prattling on about Xenu or something in his anti water-wasting speech or something.

I've still got some relatives there (a cousin, her kids, an uncle, and my grand-dad) as well, so I'm sure they were wetting themselves when word of a coming twister came around.
