You're right. We're headed for some REALLY tough times ahead.
And it's NOT about a lack-of supply on anyone's end, neither- it's all about greed on the part of the speculators and the oil companies who are raking in MONSTER profits from a lack of fuel-producing infrastructure. Add to that an ineffectual government that has done NOTHING but cater to big business, and you're just asking for an apocalypse of the economic kind. But then again, to quote another JSHer on another thread, I'm from Cali, so I don't know what I'm talking about.

Hate to say it, but I've been thinking of the connection between those in the White House (and their cronies) and the oil industry. Hate to think they wanted to squeeze the last bit of life from us before leaving office...but it's crossed my mind more than once... |
