i have noticed a lot of younger people use this word; to answer people. Guess, i have never used the word. Some use it in a rude way. (((Or, has anyone else noticed this at all??)

My brother and I use it all the time. We both always think we are right so when it gets to the point that one of us is tired of arguing, we just say "whatever". For us, it's just another way of saying "Okay, I'll let you think you are right on this one only because I'm tired of the debate."

And then we are done until another subject comes up and then it starts all over again.

Whatever, like I'm passive aggressive, but whatever like.

How can you end a sentence with the word like you ask? Order my new copy of The American Heritage Dictionary (Dumbed down) for only 49.95, that is right only 49.95! And have access to cool new inventive words like: Fizzle, hizzle, like (in 12 different uses), whatever (also in 12 different uses), and of course your favorite word of all; care (in 24 different uses), among others from all over the nation. All for 49.95!drinker
