I just got my first lyrics, recorded and produced on an album.
The song ScrubLyfe comes off of the album of the same name. It's awesome to here something I wrote in my livingroom, turned into music. As soon I get it put online, I'll post a link! I'm like a proud papa! |

First, I dig the pic of Quint, busting a pose... did he ever get that bigger boat?
I've actually been in a couple of bands, what the catalyst for this was, I was in a kind of Alt. Rap group for about 4 years, called Blak Elvis Malt Likka. One of my band mates, DJ DedTony went on to do some other stuff, make a long story short, he was in the process of putting an album together with a rapper named DJPhoneyFresh, so he contacted me about getting some extra lyrics. I actually had written for a bunch of the other songs on the album, but it was already in production, so I got dropped on the one track. Long story short, I'm writing Rap lyrics! We're on the real, we could care less about expensive cars and all that crap, we write about living on food stamps, trying to make ends meet and why the media pisses us off! |

I doubt it's the kind of thing thats gonna get me on American Idol, but then again, what does Simon Cowell know about food stamps? Thanks for the positive comments, the more of those the better for my ego! LOL!
