i understand the physical changing, but what about emotional. if having ups and downs, good times and bad times is part of who we are(humans)...doesn't it mean we would have to change to only have positive emotions in heaven. doesn't this change us? i don't want to be different, i want to be loved for who i am.

From what I understand, there will be no tears in heaven. I believe it will be a joyful, peaceful place.

wouldn't the lack of contrast get boring after a while?

my theory of heaven is that it will be a continuation of the mortal life. We will continue to learn and gain new experiences. If you are bored here, you will probably not really enjoy heaven, but, it will probably beat out the other choice

I don't think so. I think I will have had my fill of drama and sadness from this life once I move on to my life in heaven.

Do you know the difference between feelings and emotions? Emotions are inspired by events around us, feelings just happen. Emotions have a source, feelings have no identifiable source. Feelings are part of being human, I don't believe we will have feelings in heaven. We will still have emotions, but we won't have those "ups and downs" that we have today.

I believe we will be more child like as sin will be gone. Adam and eve did not know they were naked or ashamed at 1st. If sin is know more than bad thoughts will be gone. No where does the bible speak of us living in Heaven but of heaven coming down to earth. Blessings...Miles

If you are talking about the Biblical heaven then it looks like there is still free will there because Gods first creation turned against him and 1/3 of the angles followed. So it sounds like God is not all that convincing. Maybe has a 66% approval rating? Not bad for a politician but for the almighty that is kind of ruff. I bet that is why he is trying to weed out so many people now. Just get all the A** kissers in there so no one gives him grief again. This is getting clearer all the time.

I hope to feel changed. If there is indeed a heaven. I do not want to feel those things that cause me depression. Sadness or ill will. If I feel any of those things in a heaven; then it isn't really heaven in my mind. I feel best when I am happy and not going through any negative crap. Heaven is supposed to be happy and loving and forever good. I think? If it is not...then why want to go there?

heaven again huh? Ok so we are infants caged here on earth where all we can hurt is ourselves and each other and possibly this small insignicant planet.

So whan we grow up and "pass the test" that gets us into heaven, shouldn't it be a free ride? I mean finally you have a universe of knowledge at your command. You can come and go, learn, chat, maybe even create your own world, your own people - wow, that would be cool!

Cool. I have changed a lot to what I used to be. Maybe that is heaven of sorts.
I certainly do feel better than before. I mean emotionally and mentally.

What makes you think you're going to heaven? Why do you suppose they describe hell as a place with the nashing of teeth and the clawing of bodies? It will be packed. Heaven, that was empty the way John described it in revelations. So, I'll save a seat in the fire pit for you, because as near as I can tell, if you just finished your prayer of repentence and said "amen," you have already sinned and are no longer forgiven and must repent again. What's heaven like??? Find an old mining ghost town, it'll look like that except the buildings will be in better shape.

As a Christian, I hate to admit you're right, but you are. According to the book of Revelation, all any soul that makes it to heaven will be doing is prostigating himself before God. That means on your knees, singing praises to the Lord, 24/7/365 for all eternity. The idea that you'll see your friends and loved ones, never brought up in the bible, that's your preacher selling you. No, heaven is work, so get your singing voice in shape.

When you go to heaven ,you meet the dinosaurs ,lions ,cats ,dogs
....just to mention few paradise worthy .Also, you see me there
telling you " I told you so ". .
