For me when they point blankly are rude to me and assume something that is not true. I'm a pretty open person if you ask me a question I will be honest with you if you take that out of content then go behind my back and talk about me. Then that X is only a click away. I don't have time for shallow people.

I have also deleted others when I saw them being out right mean to others on the threads.

It has been awhile back and the person is no longer here but they jumped into a thread one night and was egging a member on that was talking about committing suicide was encouraging them to put it on cam even. When I found out about it a few days later I deleted them from here on my friends list as well as on myspace.

Those type of people I don't need in my life that are that cold hearted to others.noway

Some people are SOOOO sick. I am grateful for Mods

When they tell me, "Sorry, but we have to stop talking. I met someone and I want to make it work with them, and it's not fair to them to keep talking to you."....

Sounds weird, but I've had that happen THREE times now. . .

Wow. Are you like a lucky charm or what?

Kristi - that is just horrible. Someone the other night told a single mom that her kids should be shot now before they become JDs. Thank goodness for mods - I reported that one.

Yeah the bad thing is the example I used was before the Mods or the Abuse buttons on the threads were in place it was reported to Mike but it was the next morning before the post was taken off.

I mean how cold hearted can a person be one never knows what a person is thinking or what will push them over the line.huh

For example just lately it was in the news about a 13 year old girl that was on myspace. She committed suicide due to of all things another kid she thought she was talking to but ended up being someone that had a fake profile instead and was someone that lived close by had told her this world would be better off without her. How sad she was evidently having some issues and took there words to heart and killed herself. How sad is that?

Would hate to know my words caused another to commit suicide.noway

What's even sadder is that the person who did that was a mom. Apparently the girl and her daughter had a fight or something, and the mom got involved. Sick.

It comes down to what you want. If they 'cross the e-line' where ever that is ask them about what they did. Take into account if there is another reason for their actions. Stress will do odd things to a person, (ergo post-traumatic stress disorder).

If they can not provide an explanation to your liking or do not appreciate your feedback to them then delete them as a friend. At least let the person know the reason why. If you don't they will keep on being the same way.

Yep so true hiker reminds me back years ago when the Mom killed another girl because she was in the running against her daughter for the cheer leader squad. noway noway noway noway

But on the internet you don't know whom your talking too some I have seen go off on some I would consider unstable. They do it and think no one can touch them they are sooooo wrong about that. It is easier to find out about someone online then most really know. noway

There was one guy on here one night who targeted me for some reason..he scared me. I just kept asking him to stop. I didn't fight with him because I was afraid of him. I didn't think I said anything mean to him..he said he didn't like women who could use tools or something, and I said I was looking for my socket set..to me, that was just a joke, but he took offense and started calling me awful names. It was late at night and the mods weren't around for a while and he kept at it for a few hours..but I was really afraid, and wondering how much personal info about me was on my profile.

Yes it is. Never use the same username on different sites. Never use your real name on your posts or as part of your username. Get an email address that does not have your name and use it for any correspondence.

The idea is not to hide because you can't. It is to insulate.

On the net, or real life, I'm EXTREMELY po'ed when I tell someone something, and they tell someone else. I live in a town of 3,000 people, and if I tell one specific person anything, the whole town knows by the next day.. Now, I only tell her hello..

When people post racy pictures, there's no need from my end to ask WHY... it's pretty evident. That's one of my many turn offs... I think that should be saved for someone special:wink:
