What happens when the real you comes out? After you did what you needed to do to attract someone How affraid are you that the real you will be to overwhelming for someone you like?
Dont everyone be honest at one time

I learned how to avoid this problem by being honest about myself when Im trying to start a relationship

i try o keep it honest,,,,,then you ant got to worry about things you talk about,,,,,an you don't haft to dream up new lies

I can understand what you're getting at because it is impossible to know everything about a person right away, even if they are being honest. It takes time to really get to know someone's true self. My advice is don't worry about it because if it meant to be they will love every new thing that they learn about you.

You may be right, just s long as you dont have to much negitive baggage

The real me comes out right away when I meet a guy. Maybe that's why they don't hang around too long. No mystery.

I don't know who you think people are pretending to be, or if it's a reflection of your own thinking, but I've always been the real me here and in life as I live it from this side of the monitor and keyboard. What's the real point of hiding who I am from a potential mate? To make them think I don't fart in public and rate them? To hide behind fancy clothing or car and pretend I'm someone special? It's what I do in real life and in my communications with others that define who I am, not who I say I am. Real friends don't blindly praise friends. A real friend might even warn you about that booger hanging out your nose, or otherwise point out the kind of jerk you are. If I say something on my mind and it makes you laugh, that's cool. You don't have to know I mean it.

I think you're more a case of midlife rebellious teenager than anything else. I hope you're proud of your self. -tapping feet pointing at lil angel and chuckling.-
