Anytime anyone wants to get married right away, a RED FLAG should be raised in your mind, wondering... why is he so desperate to rush into a legal bond?

marriage is not a game... it's not the "cool" thing to do... it's a serious commitment with lasting consequences, even if people don't stay together.

If somebody wanted to marry me right away I would be flattered, but would question their grasp on reality.

Sometimes people just get caught in the moment, and during their wild ride of spending time with a new and interesting person want to seal the deal so they don't get away.

Some emotionally disturbed people love the 'rush' they feel from the whole process being planned and the thought of getting married and tell their friends and family, but it usually ends as easy as it starts for them. With a little digging and listening sometimes you find that they've done this with most of their former partners.

Talk about feeling special eh?

Don't let somebody play their games with you. Tell them to back off and enjoy spending time with you if you feel it's too soon. If it is just a game, they'll lose interest and go find another victim.

So true. I remember the dude blasting all over JSH about marrying a gal he never met in person in a foreighn country. It amazes me how foolish people can be

I appreciate everyone's advice I will take it into consideration. I do like him and I have talked to him several times on the phone. He is Italian and his accent is very yummy to my ear. I am a coward to committment, although, I wish to take this step sometime, I panic.
He says he will come to town in 2wks to organize the weddingsad
I feel like heck, why not do it, but then I wonder why would someone want to marry someone they don't physically know other than through a picture.
He says he loves me but I don't easily fall for that kind of talk.
Thanks to everyone for listening to me.

PS have any guys reading this message done the same thing?
