what is the most generous thing anyone has ever done for you? at some point in our lives, if we play our cards right, someone will help you out when you have no luck. what was it?

I have no idea off the top of my head. But I fully believe in Karma. So I try to do whatever I can for people I come into contact with... usually.

My car broke down in front of a retired mechanics house during a really rough time in my life...needed that car bad!!! When I returned in the morning, he was under the hood fixing it. Bless his stars! We still talk from time to time. flowerforyou

My Aunt who is also my godmother has handed me $200 dollars just because. That would have to be the most generous. I am blessed with people who love me. flowerforyou

When I left a violent relationship, my daughter's dad let me stay in his apartment with my daughter while he lived with a friend until I got back on my feet. Also, my mom let me move back in when I made another foolish choice.

i was in north carilina and my brakes went out in my car. i had my girlfriend and her two grandbabies with me. i got to a gas station and there was a guy there that looked at it and said i needed a brake line. it was raining like crazy. he went and got the part and fixed it right there in the parking lot in the pouring rain. he didn't know us. we where on our way home to ohio. every day i thank God for that stranger. bigsmile

My bio. father, who I was not raised by was so sweet to drive 15 hours each way to Fla and serve me while I had major back correction surgery, caused by a freak accident. I had a cancer scare as some weird glitch showed up on the x-ray. He paid for the extended time, and never complained about the time extention. I will always adore him for his help, in a scary, pain filled time. He even sat with me during 2 very long MRIs-one 53 and one 72 minutes. I was scared to death, but he helped me though it. My  sister:heart: and  he  footed my bills, as well.

No one's ever done anything out of generosity for me. They've either been parasites and tried to con me out of something, or they'd try to continue beating me down when I was already at my lowest.

This goes for my family too, who were often the worst at the crap I just talked about. grumble
