You know I've read this thread a second time and I've realized, I apparently have been going about dating wrong my entire life. I've never cheated, never acted possessive or jealous (sometimes to the detriment of my relationships), I only date one woman at a time, and I've even enjoyed hanging out with some of the male friends (actually got to keep a couple after a break up). No wonder I've never been married, I'm going about this all wrong. Jamie, If you change a thing about what you've been doing Ill head east and north and smack ya on the head

I guess what I am saying guys...is we don't want you to get your hooks into us until we have had time to thourouly check you out...

Freak out moment. I went out with a guy once and on our FIRST date, he started introducing me as his girlfriend. His friend (who was better looking) told me later that I wasn't to be messed with because I was the freaks. Okay, first date girlfriend stuff is creepy, but guys will often tell their buddies if they are trying to go out with someone. It is a way that male friends use keep from going after the same woman. Yeah, but three weeks into dating him, he got my name tattooed on his, well on him. This takes us back to 'tagging' just a hair more extreme. Does he know how hard it is to get that removed.

LOL (just kidding about this part) But, people really don't take the time to really get to know each other well before making some kind of committment...they don't want to "WASTE" or "Invest" the time...but, what they don't understand is...if they rush and it isn't right later...they have wasted alot of time and investment as well for nothing! |
