She's really very lovely in her manners and her face
She lights the room up with her smile and calms you with her grace When she knows that you are hurting, her humor's just the trick I thought she was a saint, but I learned she's just a chick She'd give you her last nickel if it would just help you out Every day you are not with her, it's you she thinks about She would bring you soup and toddies on the days that you are sick I thought she was an angel, but I learned she's just a chick If I could but live up to the example she has shown I would make you feel so loved, and you would never feel alone I'd like to be just like her, but I haven't learned the trick There's nothing I would rather say than, hey, I'm just a chick |
