Did somebody on the Radio Station say they tried it, and if so, did it work for them?

And I did beat a parking ticket one time. I lived in a house that was made into apartments and everybody had 2 cars (me and my brother shared an apartment). There was no parking lot so we had to park on the street with the rest of the neighborhood. There was this one neighbor who parked behind his house everyday, but had a handicapped sign put in front of his house. I got off work late at night and of course there were no parking spaces except for the one that stays empty, the handicapped one. So I parked there. When the officer came to my door to give me the ticket I told him that the guy never used the space and always parked in the back of his house. The officer asked the neighbor about it, and the neighbor stated that yes he was handicapped but wanted the sign there so he could have an extra parking space in front of his house in case someone came to visit.

The officer said that he would be there when I went to court over the ticket (You have to go to court here if you get a parking ticket in a handicapped space) and he did go. He explained the situation to the Judge and told him what the neighbor had said so the Judge dismissed the ticket.

A week later the handicap sign was taken down, it was something to the effect that the guy was abusing his privileges as a handicapped person.
