Relationships shouldn't be about money.
Real love is about things money can never buy.

I make 85,000 a year. So I could live with a woman that made less then me. My one ex didnt work at all and were fine. But I would like the woman to work so that she has her own money to buy whatever she would like whenever she likes.

I lasted 15 years with someone that made half of what I did. It was never an issue.

with someone who earns considerably less than you?

Sure. I've done it before. Not a problem.

Most of my married life, and it was a big issue for her as we had similar levels of education.

To me, it doesnt matter what a person makes- as long as they are working, have self-worth and ambition to do something with thier life. If i met someone that made less money or worked less so that they had more time to volunteer or pursue thier passions and dreams in life, then I would have a wonderful person that knows what is truly important in life!

Competition over money will ruin any relationship- if you only see yourself in terms of a paycheck then u are missing out on the important stuff!
