Here is the thing....if you give people power over you they can jerk you around and treat you like dirt. If you don't then they can only try. if they sense you are strong and confident it would not even occur to them to do so.
I can tell you I can know in two e-mails if a guy is a doormat. I walk away at that point, but some people think they are being nice or drop hints and that turns into you thinking they jerked you around. Get a backbone. |
