Thank you all, I'm not out of the clear yet, today's palpitations have lasted for about 6 hrs or so... plus I was feeling nauseated earlier and upchucked once.. I know you wanted to hear that! laugh

I'm kinda thinking it's family stress above all else. Tonight was my last final, and I wasn't worried about it, but it was HARD! I dunno how I did, but at least I'll have a B in that class if no A. So my worries should hopefully subside a bit.

Thanks again for your concern, thoughts, and prayers... I've been praying a lot myself... believe me flowerforyou  flowerforyou smooched

Didn't see this thread till Tuesday night. Sorry Amber!

I'm glad you're initially okay, and glad you went to the E.R. I know you've been schooling and stressing a lot, so I am hoping that's all that's really wrong. Stress. Please try and take it easy, breathe in, breathe out, and smile. Relax about school, life, and JSH. If you need anything, hollar... e-mail. Don't post it in a thread I might not see for 24 hours! LOL Worried and care about you! You know that. (=

Thanks again everyone... this round of palpitations hasn't stopped since yesterday. I was referred to a cardiologist to get a holter monitor and so far none of them will take me because I don't have insurance or cash.

I just barely sent in my paperwork to apply for Medi-Cal today. I told that to the hospital that I went to yesterday and they said they don't know who takes Medi-Cal either. Don't know if I'll be accepted or not or how long it will take. We don't have any free clinics in Fresno and it pretty much looks like I'm just S.O.L. any way I look at it.

I had a bowl of cereal this morning, but now I'm only drinking water... maybe a fast will help. I've been praying, but more prayers are always welcome. I think I'm gonna go back to sleep now, today has sucked. Thank you all for your concern. flowerforyou

That's sweet hikerchick:heart: , I'm not asking for donations though. lol I think this would be a pretty underhanded way of doing it and I'm not wired like that. Thank you for the thought!

I've done a lot of research these past few days and the best herbal remedies I seem to have found are Vitamin B & C combos, Hawthorne, and another thing was Q10 CoEnzyme. I've got the B,C, and Hawthorne, so I just took some of those. My mom nicely did a health store run for refills and to check on the Q10 stuff. Hopefully they will help. flowerforyou

Boy, you aren't kidding. She brought back the 3 things I asked for but then got a few others, too... she spent waaaaay too much. Can you believe that CoQ10 costs $25 for 125 caps?! Wow I should really go into selling supplements.

Thanksflowerforyou , I just got up from a nap... I suppose it's good my heart's still beating, as irregular as it is. I'll just concentrate on that and try not to think of the bad part. Many people have suggested it's just an anxiety attack, so I'm trying my best to relax and stay hydrated.

ty wolfchic, I'm not hurting anymore though... just having the palpitations. The good news is, they're not as often... I actually have a few breaths in between each one now.

Still thinking of you often. No one should be denied medical treatment for inability to pay. There is something wrong with our society.

I know you were never soliciting donations, but I still wish I had some to send you. This upsets me.

Here we can go to the county hospital and while your waiting you start filling out the application for District Clinic. From the time you turn it in as long as you get approved everything will be paid including presciptions. Most of the country has something like that and it doesn't take much to get approved. You just have to go through all the motions.
If there is a county hospital close then call them and ask. See, they are not going to advertise it because then they would be having an overload of people. Since you are a student with a child that may qualify you.flowerforyou

The nearest free clinic is 3 hrs away. The thing is, if it is an anxiety attack, which popular opinion seems to be, I need to relax as much as possible and not get myself all worked up again. I had enough frustration calling hospitals and cardiologists yesterday that I'm just done with all of it.

There are things I like about this country, and things I hate. I know that if everyone that needed a doctor was seen, this country would probably be in more trouble than it already is. Again, I'm already signing up for Medi-cal, my paperwork was mailed yesterday. The hospital mentioned something about a charity program if I don't qualify for Medi-cal, so hopefully I won't have a bill I can't pay from when I went to the ER.

Of course relaxing is easier said than done, but somehow I need to find a way to not let all my worries bury me. I'm trying my best. flowerforyou

Yes, that's another good thing... I've got a 3 week break before my summer class begins

I am VERY grateful for all the love I've gotten on here, and I do count you all as one of my many blessings  smooched flowerforyou

I slept a whooooole lot more than I wanted to last night, kept making myself fall back asleep... I think I stayed in bed for about 12 hrs. lol The bath sounds good. I think I'll go do some yoga first.

Hope your daughter is adjusting well and you are, too... flowerforyou

WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!

They stopped!! They finally stopped. Apparently it WAS stress. I talked with my mom about one of the issues I've been dealing with lately and as soon as I finished saying the words, my heart stopped palpitating. I wish I knew how to do a backflip.

Thank you SOOO much everyone for your sweet words, good thoughts, and prayers. flowerforyou flowerforyou Much love to you!!!  smooched smooched smooched
