To pray in vain to me means you prayed for something you feel you didn't get an answer to. Or do you mean pray for something for yourself? Because I'd say 99% of people in here have done that....daily....

We are human and don't see God' plan. Sometimes we ask for things that aren't a part of His plan. I would like to think He knows that we do so from emotion. I hope that we are forgive for our ignorance and reactions.

i would say that if something is weighing on your heart about something you prayed about, pray asking for wisdom and guidance for that which is God's will.

My prayers conern someone else. Does that make sense? The law of attraction will work for anyone and it involves using your thought to create your personal reality. But your will is not for the purpose of creating a personal reality for another person or for using it to control or manipulate another person against their will. They also have free will. So to pray that someone will fall in love with you will not work. It may help, but if it is simply mind control, it will only be very temporary, like temporary hypnosis. JB
