Do you think Judaism, Christianity, and the Muslim faith could have been derived from earlier religious belief systems that are now called mythology? For example Ancient Sumerians and Egyptians have similiar stories of miracles happening like ressurection, walking on water, and curing the blind.

**Perhaps scholars or historians at the time of inventing a new religion have used these stories to create the Bible, Koran, or Torah**

I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on this without insulting others or discriminating a belief system. Thank you.

Not to mention similar stories of creation , the flood, the expultion of 'Lucifer', although the names are different there are a lot of similarities in the main body of the tales.happy

Judaic thought is unique to the voice that inspired their people . That was "in one accord" as a family thing.

if the flood occured, then there are others that witnessed it.

Judaic discourse says at the least that the tribe of Dan had not been heard from and was lost.

Judaic thought also speaks to "the lost tribes".

Lucifer is not an anomoly peculiar to Judaic thought.

"Other gods" were a common theme of Judaic thought.

As far as "other gods" are concerned with regard to Judaic thought's protrayal of "other gods", it depends entirely on the translation of the words used for "other gods" in their discourse.

The Hebrew language has two words for angels, according to the English language. The Greek language has two.

The Hebrew language has three words which are translated in to "god" in the English language.

The Greek language displays an understanding that one of the Hebrew words for "god" as translated into English is translated as "angels".

The Greeks held beliefs that gods were many , yet knew the difference between the Hebrews words for "gods" and "angels".

We all know how Christianity came to be what it is, which is also subjected to fractionalizing just what constitutes Christianity in fact. (Judaic thought and the mind of Jesus Christ inclusive.)

Islam is borrowed from the other two and inconsistent with either and its efficacy selectively borrows from Judaic thought and Christianity in the mind of a man that was married to the daughter of a Christian and was taught Christainity. It was not until the deathy of that father in law that Islam came to be as a seperate and unique doctrine. It leans heavily on the lineage of Abraham for support and reduces Jesus Christ to a mere prophet to stand.

Religious doctrines and faiths outside of the Judaic beginnings do not rest in Judaic thought to support their efficacy and display that Judaic thought was unique, but not entirely an exclusive or borrowed belief and doctrine about god and man and history as preserved for future generations.

That mankind expresses similar veiws of history and the reality of divine influence throughout history testifies to me that, historically, man has believed in God from man's earliest ability to preserve knowledge with the written word.

All things written that do not borrow from Judaic thought and its progress and refinement and conversation with God stand alone to suggest that other gods existed the minds of men and that these other gods existence had been widely known to others not of Jewish familial descent.

Judaic thought includes this statement attributed to the LORD, JHWH, their "guiding light". "Of all the families of the earth, it is only you that I have known."

In Christian thought, is the belief that Jesus Christ is the one of whom it is written, " and he came to his own, and his own received him not"
Islam claims the Jesus is but a prophet and that Muhammed was given the superceding pre-emptive message from God, at the expense of jesus' words which say that we are not to follow anyone who comes in his name and teaches another gospel changing his words.(which should have been known to Muhammed)

Mormonism does what Islam does to stand; Adding to that which is and changing it to mean a contrary hypocrisy.

Christianity is viewed as the complete discourse and fulfillment of Judaic thought and discourse; and stands, intellectually, on the fulfillment of prophesy concerning the advent of the Messiah, albeit establishing two parts to that fulfillment of prophesy which in the gap declares the Church Age. also known as the Age of Grace which will close at the Church of Jesus Christ being full and complete and then fulfill the rest of Judaic prophesy. Christianity also supports itself with the whoole of known Judaic thought and discourse of the truth of the LORD, JHWH< and His Messages to the children of Isra-el.

Spiritually, Christian thought and discourse and efficacy is led by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, which is how Jesus , the incarnate JHWH, spoke by way of the prophets to the children of Isra-el, but now speaks to Christians being the Son of God, Jesus, which is the carnal manifestation of JHWH, through that same Holy Spirit and remaining upon their person whereas the prophets of JHWH were only given to be temporarily inspired to share with the children of Isra-el the Word of the LORD(JHWH).

Where other stories come from is best left to them that know things which I am not knowledgeable to share.

I am confident that others have knowledge of those things. I do not.

In closing, I reiterate that, no, I don't 'think', as you put it, that Judaic thought was derived from other religious belief systems.

learn, grow and be at peace.

Yes the myths have been repeated over and over.

Perhaps there is some truth to them after all, but maybe the time in which they have been said to have happened has been moved.

Or maybe they are just stories told by the ancient alien race that used to inhabit the world before humans. They are said to have very little imagination and can't make up new stories, so they just retell the same ones over and over, changing them just a little.
