I have an amazing connection with this person ... we just click and I can't put it into words. The thought of meeting him in person, however, absolutely terrifies me.

The fear of rejection, I guess. He has seen my pictures, of course ... but it doesn't make it any easier. It's just that everything online/phone is wonderful ... what if we meet and there is nothing there?

Also, how long did you spend getting to know the person online before advancing to real life? This particular person lives many states away from me.

Am I crazy? When he emails me or what not, my heart pounds. I sit at work and school replaying our conversations in my mind and smiling.

i say dont slow down!!!!! cause i met someone on here before when i was single that lived clear on the east coast i on the west..... i waited.... for 2 months to meet and i cut my life off for this person.... id not do it again the cutting off my life part to wait to meet someone in person like that... he was nice.... and i thought he was it...... but it just wasnt there after meeting in person..... who knows what oppertunitys i missed out on?

That's the thing... he is not scared... he is all gun ho and happy it about all... that all good will happen... maybe I am being pessimistic?

If you met in person then you will see if there is a real connection. If you don't met and you just keep talking on here and the phone for how ever long then met and there is no personal connection then what?
