What exactly is this guy getting at???
A news reporter that lies?? To me that's the same thing as a politician that lies. Most media in North America runs it's own agenda, is that a surprise? |

I like watching those two go at it, i dis trust both of them and when they go for each other's throat than the real facts come out about them, plus its entertaining =)

All I saw in that video is one man smearing another with only two little sound bites coming from the other.... would have to see more of what O'Reilly was saying in that segment to know if there was any merit in it... but since I do watch Fox news all the4 time because I feel it's the ONLY major news spot to get the real truth about things, I'd find it hard to believe that had he miss-stated any facts, that he wouldn't admit and correct those mistakes right away because I see them do that on Fox news all the time when they make a mistake. From what little I could pick up on what O'Reilly was saying is that in or around the time of the Malmedy Massacre the American troops had also had instances where they shoot down prisoners and he seemed to be saying that throughout our war history mistakes such as that have happened.... how that is degrading the American troops or dishonoring them is beyond me!!!
So what was your point in posting this, and what are you trying to say? lol |

This is what Bill O'Reilly was talking about, it was a US soldier reprisal for the Malmedy Massacre, which happened one week after Malmedy. |

msnbc - Fanta, you really want us to believe Olberman?
Talk about doctoring something up. What a facade this video is, it makes a lame attempt to trash O'Reilly. To pick out 2 seconds of what Bill O'Reily was saying is sooooooo hysterical Fanta; to actually think people would buy your hateful jibberish and realize that only split seconds of a video were used to twist and turn facts to make Olberman look good and O'Reily look bad? msnbc/olberman - they both make me throw up. I watch Fox every night, from Shephard Smith to O'Reily factor, to Hannity and Colmes and ending with Greta's On the Record. msnbc' ratings are sooooooooooooooooooooooo low, they will do anything such as this video, to try to improve their rating by appealing to the left wing liberals just for and only for the viewing rate - which msnbc seems to be in quite a bit of trouble. Olberman looked like some demon with venom spitting out of his mouth. Bill O'Reily has not and never will degrade our military. Olberman can never hold up to O'Reily in debates and fact. Do not be so naive Fanta, O'Reily did not get to the top and stay there by not finding facts and having researched thoroughly, and by being a hateful vicious viper such as Olberman is. Oh God, to compare O'Reily and olberman, you just ruined my weekend. Thanks a lot. Lindyy |

I understand your sheeple disease makes it hard to open your mind, but at least open your eyes and ears. This didnt just happen once, it happened a couple times. Its almost sickening to watch O'liely try to tell a man who graduated first in his class at West point, wounded in Veitnam, and lead the Allied command in Europe about the military. He once again show his right wing loud mouthed ignorance on a public forum for the world to see. Wesley Kanne Clark (born December 23, 1944) is a retired four-star general of the United States Army. Clark was valedictorian of his class at West Point, was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship to the University of Oxford where he obtained a degree in PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics), and later graduated from the Command and General Staff College with a master's degree in military science. He spent 34 years in the Army and the Department of Defense, receiving many military decorations, several honorary knighthoods, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Clark commanded Operation Allied Force in the Kosovo War during his term as the Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO from 1997 to 2000. |

I did watch it all... and as lindyy said, they show 2 seconds of what O'Reilly said, and even from those two seconds he was correct as Spidercmb pointed out, it seems that is what he was talking about.... and in no way has he ever or would he ever bash and degrade the American military as the whole Olberman story was trying to say. O' Reilly has always had nothing but extreme high praise for out military and their families, even when he might disagree with some of the war tactics or policies, which he has at times.... and he has made many trips to Iraq to support our troops there, probably more than any other news anchor or celebrity out there..... I don't believe I've seen such actions and praise and support for our troops coming from Olberman.... and it's actually pretty damn ridicules and plain silly and idiotic for him to try to say that O'Reilly was degrading our war hero's.... as you say anyone that will open their damn eyes and look at reality can see that he has never done such a thing, nor did he in that piece you're trying to say he did, nor would he ever. And if you'd ever actually watch and listen to anything other than the far left kook sites and media then you'd see how ****ing ridicules this was too!

Yeah i did watch it, and like it said its fun to watch those two commentators go at each other for the tiniest things. Its common knowledge that O'Riley is the biggest douche ever and only says what he does to get ratings, and Olberman is is pretty funny with his news cast, but hes turning into a douche too O_O

After Oberman called O'riley out and pointed to the fact that FOX had altered their transcripts of his show. They Fox news corected the transcripts back to the original.
Here is a copy of those transcripts. Mind you this is the second incident, the second show that he said the same thing. CLARK: I say that, first of all, you'll have to show me and prove to me that there were ever any American soldiers in Belgium, and Normandy, or in Iwo Jima, who murdered civilians. Secondly, I think you're too low when you say 95 percent of the forces are performing effectively. I'd say 99.5 percent of the forces are performing effectively. Maybe higher. But when you have incidents like this, and you have chains of command under enormous stress, that is an indicator that things aren't going right. You've got to be sensitive of those indicators. You've got to fix the problem. Otherwise, it's going to get worse. O'REILLY: OK... CLARK: This is a long-term problem. O'REILLY: ...nobody is disagreeing with that. CLARK: Well that's my position. O'REILLY: And in Malmedy, as you know, U.S. forces captured S.S. forces, who had their hands in the air. And they were unarmed. And they shot them down. You know that. That's on the record. Been documented. And Iwo Jima, the same thing occurred. The Japanese attempted to surrender, and they were burned in their caves. CLARK: Bill, that's a lot different than this. O'REILLY: OK. CLARK: These are no forces. O'REILLY: Listen, what I'm trying to say to you is neither of those things, in the Battle of the Bulge or in Iwo Jima reflected negatively on our military, as far as its total performance was concerned. It was men under stress snapping. That's what this is. This isn't Abu Ghraib. Abu Ghraib was cowardice, in my opinion. Off the chart, irresponsible cowardice to do that.
