I've never considered myself to be the jealous type. I don't really envy anyone, and as far as dating goes (which is what you really asked), I've always considered that trust is a key element, so I have no reason to be jealous.

I think jealousy leads to control over another. I don't want someone to have control over me and I sure don't want to have contol over someone else. I want my s/o to be a good and honest person without me trying to make him be

I have had my moments but I'm not typically a jealous person. I figure if a guy is gonna cheat on me, he's gonna do it whether I'm jealous or not. So why get myself all worked up until he actually does cross the line? Also when my s/o is jealous and defensive and makes me think he is cheating on me. |

Jealousy is bad. It makes for a sick relationship. Sick as in; it hurts it, and all involved.
I am not a jealous person. I hate jealousy. If I feel the urge to be jealous, then it is time to sit down and have a talk. Besides what is jealousy? Fear of the unknown, or fear of losing, an imagining? One cannot control anothers actions. So why sweat it? If I feel like my significant other is going to cheat; I can't stop it.
