Exactly, some people just need to be pointed in the right direction. Either because of a past choice or someone in the past not showing them. They'll still be doing it for themselves afterall they are bettering themself, but at the same time it helps to have some positive reinforcement for your choices.

It's all in the habits. Is he a money loser or a victim of a bad situation? Is it about education or attitude? I'm afraid I'm an incredibly critical person when it comes to other people...So I'd likely be a wary father.

I'm not going to date someone who is bad with money, I have worked too hard to be where I am today, I know people who make 60K a year and are always broke, I know people who make 30K a year and always have money.

I'm not a high maintenance person, I don't like designer things, and someone who wants to shower me with designer things, well they really don't know me. I'm frugal, I like nice things, but I won't pay outrageous prices for them, nor expect someone else to do it.

money is not everything. I know some well to do people that i can not stand to be around but then i know some that make 100.000 a year that you would never know that they have money. I know some people that make 20,000 a year that are anoying and some that are very respectful,will help anyone that needs help and are injoyable to be around.
