As I sit and ponder
Looking through this thread,
Enjoying all the poetry
And things that I've read.
It's getting an overload
And there are those with no chance,
For their craft to be seen
Not even one stance.
Before you know it
Their stuff is gone to page two,
With all the newbies coming in
I think we need a Part Deux.
So my suggestion is
We have two poetry threads,
So there won't be such overload
With doubts of dread.
What do you think of this idea
I would like to know,
So we can suggest it to Mike
And let's give it a go.

Glad you like it...or either it could be like a reply page or something. Replies in one thread and the poem in the other. I don't know, just something so there won't be such an overload.

how about each person binding their poems in their own thread like a little book?
that way they can always go to them and so can others....


after reading Sadie i went rummaging thru pages and pages to find her beautiful voice....would be so easy to just go to "Sadie's Thread"if such a place existed....


i keep all mine in one thread and bookmark the thread so when i need it i just go to my bookmarks and post

Good point, but could you imagine all the threads that each individual would have to make...talk about a job for Mike. If it doesn't take hold, I guess everybody could go to their favorite writer and click on their postings, but I've done that myself with just mine, and I had to weed through all the replies as well. But anything that help this forum will be a good idea.

You know me Pam...Always have to put something poetically. It's the only way I know how to express my words.

I'll stop posting poems if that will help.

No Nora, that isn't the idea. I would do the same if it would help, but we all enjoy sharing our craft for others to read, but if it gets pushed to page two or three, no one is going to read it or reply to it. You keep posting your wonderful words.

so we will all have to keep bumping our own stuff back up to the top.

I go through all these and it takes me forever.
Sometimes I miss some posts.
Perhaps we should combine our own writes into one
post for our own stuff. (Thats going to take some time too).

I think having two sections would be a bit too
much for me. Going through one is keeping me very busy.
