I'm bored
So thoughts keep bouncing around
Some unwanted, some intriguing
But most puzzling
How have I gotten here?
In the beginning I had hopes and dreams
A solid staircase of plans to get there too
Now?
I'm going nowhere fast
Yes, I finally have a few friends
All of them have children, dreams of marriage
What do I have?
Dust-coved dreams
And a rotting staircase that once were plans.
I look just like my father
These actions are the spitting image of my mother
Trapped in an itty-bitty town I despise with my entire being
Unhappiness has begun to make a home in my soul
What I wouldn't give to just pick up and go
Leave this stupid town in the dust
Spirits once soaring high now lie dead
Confidence I possessed as a young child
Is nothing more than a memory
In fact, I am not entirely sure it existed at all
Look at me,
What am I?
DIFFERENT
WEIRD
A nobody
Not suitable for any sort of normal, sane man
Intelligence and wits don't always matter
Not in todays' world.
I have seen myself as normal
My family has too
This is the hand I was dealt and that's completely okay
Some are just meant to be alone
After all, love cannot light every soul
Nor color every womans cheek the most lovely shade of pink
Being alone Isn't so bad
It's being reminded of the reasons
That has begun to erode my heart

And these make a bouquet.

This was very heartfelt,but in my opinion you have to find the beauty and happiness inside of you first.You are a beautiful young soul,so many hopes and dreams ahead of you.I have had a disability for years and it's taken me all my life to find me.Dreams do come true just always believe in yourself and they will happen....hugs
