why whats the matter

Taking my daughter to an appointment in the morning for a mole on her back that raised a concern with her Pediatrician. It's not raised...it's flush with her skin...Also a blemish on her cheek since birth...More concerned with the mole and wondering what the norm may be with this?

Jimmy if it's really dark it's a concern or bigger than the head of a pencil eraser.. I just had one removed from my arm and have another to go on my stomach... Nothing serious especially at her young age flowerforyou

yes... definately take her in to get it looked at... but, unless it changes shape or color..I would'nt worry to much.
I get alot of advice from webmd.com maybe it can give you some info. until the Dr.'s appointment.

If it's symetrical also it is usually safe, if it has an odd shape...ie, not a circle then they worry about it.

It is round and flush with her skin....It does not look abnormal

They will probably do a small scrape on it, she'll have an ouie, and a band aid...

Probably nopthing to be concerned about now. I have 3 HUGE ones on my back. Docs have been watching them since I was little. Now one of them has morphed into this lumpy nasty itchy thing...and I dont have insurance. Its one of the 4 that are huge and cause me probs. Ive had 2 removed already.
