Hey lets PRAY at the pumps!!! Maybe God will do something about it!!!

I believe in God, but I can see Him shaking his head on this one!!! I can see Him saying to Himself.. "those IDIOTS! I gave them BRAINS for a REASON! I gave them all the tools they needed to make things WORK! Now they want ME to fix THIER STUPIDITY!???"

Poor God .. He gave humanity a perfect place, yet humans can't even function anymore!

More like why?? Do you think God would actually do something like that? For what reasons? He has no reasons what so ever to get involved in such a petty thing as that. man made the stuff, let them deal with thier own creations.

The problems of mankind are due to overpopulation.

If people would quite multiplying so much we wouldn’t have these problems.

Imagine how beautiful life would be if the human populations were sparse and there were no big cities and major highways.

Do you realize that they ship potatoes from farms in Idaho to grocery stores in Pennsylvania.

Did you know that they also ship potatoes from farms in Pennsylvania to grocery stores in Idaho?

What is wrong with a civilization that is so screwed up it’s shipping stuff clear across the country when there isn’t any need to do that?

My potato example is only one of thousands of examples. We could probably eliminate 90 percent of the trucking industry if we could just figure out a way to get the nearest commodities to the nearest places they are needed.

Same thing goes for working people. People in town A drive over to work in town B everyday, and the people in town B drive over to work in town A every day.

Why? What’s wrong with working closer to home?

In fact, I’ve worked in factories were the work I did could be taken home to do. I could drive in on Monday, get enough parts to build products all week, go home, build the products, then drive back in the next Monday to get another shot of parts, and deliver the finished products that I had built.

But I couldn’t do that. Why? Because the companies won’t permit it. So there you go. I had to drive to work and back 5 times a week instead of once a week.

There are a lot of people who could take their work home like that. But we are so used to getting paid by the hour instead of by the work done that it will never happen.

Why pray at the pumps when we’re so frigg’in stupid that we can’t even figure out how to cut down gasoline consumption buy hundreds of percents. When it would be so easy to do!!!

It’s stupid.

God has little to do with it.

If enough people put their thoughts into that incantation it could work.

Thought and belief are powerful tools in the intricate order.

It is the creative technique that creates things and events within the holographic matrix in which we live.

It is like magic, but it is just the technology of thought.

Thats the answer right there...that one short sentence! If there could only be a plague that could wipe out all the "stupid people" then the world popluation would decrease by at least 2/3 and the world would be a much better place.

Any IQ's under triple digit. So that would mean 9 out of 10 politicians would be removed as well...bye bye Bush.

I think working from home and self employment will increase in the future, out of necessity.

I don't know if we will live to see it in mass, but as long as we have the gas, people will continue to waste it.

My advice is to not give Caesar anything and God doesn't need it.

So I will keep it all or give it to my family.

A guy was in a boat in the ocean and the boat sank. So the poor guy was praying and praying..God rescue me!!!

A boat came by..the guy said no thanks, I'm praying to God and He will rescue me.....

Another boat came by the next day...the man said no thanks again..I'm praying that God will rescue me..so i will believe He will rescue me....

the next day the man drowned..and as he stood before God he asked "God, I prayed and I prayed for you to rescue me..why did you not come and rescue me???"

God replied "I sent two boats you moron!"

So as in this situation..why in the world PRAY??? Why not STOP USING, JOIN TOGETHER AND MAKE A STAND AND CHANGE THOSE THINGS YOU CAN CHANGE!!???

WHY put the problem on God's plate when YOU are very capable of FIXING the problem YOURSELF!!??/

God will NOT move His hand when the power and ability is within YOUR grasp. he expects YOU to do something about it and for YOU to take the needed action. That's why you will NOT see God intervene in such a fiasco.

There was a Evangelical church, here in the bible belt, that was doing something like that.

I agree. The guy praying for the boat needed to recognize that his prayers had been answered. Instead, he did not know how to receive. He expected something else. I guess he wanted to see the hand of God reach down and save him.

He was being much too picky.

It is one thing to ask, but you have to learn how to receive.

People should look for other solutions to their demands for fuel.

Like what Abra suggested. Work at home, work closer to home, buy local potatoes etc. Part of the Law of Attraction (and prayer) is the intention to take ACTION.

LOL..well maybe today..you are corrct, but its not only the "religous now. People expect the governing bodies to do basically everything for them now.

As to the religious..it did not use to be that way. Look at the story of david and Goliath...david did not sit on his butt to just pray..he went out to kill goliath..but he had motice to..one of the king's daughters...so it was sexually motivated..but it was still ACTION!

Yes action is necessary, that is for sure, especially where government is concerned. People need to take action and solve their own problems and stop crying for the government to do everything for them.
