Its about time we tightened up security at the airports. We should continue the process at all our borders.

Dude, how are you tightening up security, when you are botching the no fly list to the point your air marshalls are being grounded? Thats what the story was about...

i know an Air marshal.. thier not grounded. Myth busted. He can walk past security by showing ID, as can US Marshals. He sometimes has fun w/ security by going thru with his sidearm and letting then catch him. after they panic and go into full bust em mode, , he shows them his ID.

So these other guys who did the interviews for the articles, they're all just lying?

TSA couldn't catch a cold if someone handed them the virus. Osama Bin Laden could walk on a plane because they would be too busy searching a 75 year old granny to catch him. I feel so insecure about flying that I refuse to do it.

I fly all over the place and i feel a lot safer now than before 9/11.

I don't feel that there is any difference in the safety factor between then and now. In fact, I feel like the 'security' measure are more to make people so annoyed with flying that they don't anymore. If there are less people flying, then maybe it will be easier to find the bad ones.

I also had airline security tell me that those random searches are not random at all. That they are targeting certain people. I get search EVERY time I fly.

For most of that time, I was a jail librarian with a teaching degree in History and English. The only so-called "controversial" boards and websites I'm on might be some wiccan and pagan ones.

Would that be why I was targeted? I don't know.

I think it's about incremental conditioning.
