If you had an argument with someone through email, and told them that you were never going to contact them again and instructed them to never contact you again, what would you think if they wrote you back and at the end of the mail, they said the very same thing, except in all caps? Would you think they were daring you to write them or just repeating the same thing you said out of spite?

I wouldn't know, because I'd have blocked them.

Yeah, I should have blocked them. Wasn't thinking.

I stupidly said the same thing to someone.

It was a blind threat. I wanted them to say something, anything. It was the only thing I could think to do at the time. My head was reeling and my intellectual part was not in control. Isn't the brain a funny thing?

I was careful not to use the words "I promise" though. they know if I use those words I will keep my word. I also told them if they didn't want me to contact them again just say so. I absolutely would do as they wished. I promise. laugh

Yeah, I know he wants a response, and usually I'd give him one, but he was particularly rude in this email, so I'm ignoring him.

That'd be brilliant. He's used to me lashing back at him, so I know he's expecting it. I think it'd be funny if I wrote him back and just said "I love you." Might kill him, lol. But I won't reply to him. I just know he's waiting for me to.

then, talk about different kinds of turds, you know, color texture, longy's.... pellets.....things like this, then he will leave you alone.....and he will be very scared..... or hire me to scare him. that really is me in the picture.

People can be rude and threaten for many reasons....

Controlling-meanspiritedness-bitter from the past and it is triggered by something you inadvertantly said or typed. they take it as rejection.

Usually when this happens and you have already had many e-mails and correspondence with someone...it usually means that the person has already become emotionally connected, enough to be upset, they are seeking a way to reach you, not a good way though. Usually feelings are involved in it. And if it goes back and forth..well it means you both have some type of feelings invested..hopes...

Do u like the person? Regardless of this sporadic rudeness?

Yeah we had an emotional connection and a tiny part of me still likes him, but I will not give him the satisfaction of writing him back. My pride won't let me do that. laugh
