You'll find it......I'm in the same boat. I lost my husband nine years
ago and have been raising my kids on my own. Very tough....But I still
believe that there is someone out there for me. I'm not willing to
settle though which is why I have been single for so long. But living
the way you described will bring quality people into your life. And
those are the ones worth waiting for!

Well this year my friend and I have decided to be each other's Valentine
for that very reason.....not romantic with roses but we can still
surprise each other with little gifts of friendship. We both LOVE
watching 24 so I am ordering her a shot glass and will put other little
goodies in a basket. This may sound really dorky but maybe you could
surprise someone that would least expect it with a Valentine wish...even
if it was a stranger in need! Then ......who knows. At least you
sprinkled goodness back in the universe. One year I bought my own
chocolate and ate the whole thing.......

LOL, ya did that last year went out with friends i auctioned myself off
for cancer society. I raised $250. took her to dinner and a dance after,
but nothing came of it.

I wonder what I could get an auction??? That is one thing I have never
tried.

Great post Kojack - glad there are more men like you coming up on the
site. IAM4U has been a defender of us in the past, he has been on here
since the beginning. Several of the ladies do do a good job themselves
too, as you said in your post. I do agree, it is about respect for
yourself and others.
